Offsetting our Carbon Emission with Ecologi

Here at Slam Marketing, it’s important for us to be as sustainable as possible. From using eco-friendly cleaning products to introducing desk plants for all members of staff from Patch, we are consistently looking at ways we can become more eco-friendly and sustainable.

Which is why when we started growing our business we decided to partner with Ecologi.

Who are Ecologi?

Ecologi are a UK based environmental conservation organisation that help individuals and businesses have an accessible way to help tackle the climate emergency through reforestation. Reforestation is seen as a key solution to help tackle climate change. This is true especially for mangrove planting which offsets 4 times more carbon than tropical rainforest trees.

How do we use Ecologi?

Whenever we hire a new employee we assess how much travel they will be doing. We then use Ecologi’s guide to purchase a certain amount of trees to help offset their yearly carbon emissions.

Not only do we plant trees for our employees but we also use Ecologi to send sustainable gifts to our suppliers and customers.

So far we have attributed trees to Reforestation Projects in the UK, Mozambique, Responsible Planting in Nicaragua and Mangrove Planting in Madagascar. You can click here to see our forest!
